A seasoned Business & Human Resources Professional with more than 32+ years of experience in running different business units. He has successfully established and grown private-public sector relationships to ensure maximum impact as Secretary-General & CEO of Leather Sector ISC and Founder and CEO of Centre of Excellence for Leather Skill Bangladesh Limited (COEL) since 2009. He is the Managing Director of E-Zone HRM Limited, where he leads a team, offering a wide range of HR solutions and consultancy services to its clients in various sectors in Bangladesh like UN Organizations, USAID, Telecom companies, Foreign Development Partners, International NGOs, FMCG, financial institutions, and many more. Mr. Ahsan is also successfully contributing as Adjunct Faculty member of East West University on ‘Leadership and Organizational Behavior’ since 2018. He has attended numerous training and workshops all over the globe, on skill development and capacity development for various sectors and is an active member of committees in the government and private sectors and also under the ministry.

He has successfully worked with the reputed private sector, and multinational companies including Sanofi-Aventis & Bata Shoe Company Bangladesh Limited, both leaders in their respective industries. Mr. Ahsan served as the Executive Director in Apex Group, one of the leading conglomerates in Bangladesh and worked with Apex Footwear Limited, Apex Tannery Limited, and Apex Pharma Limited the role of reviewing, analyzing and administering businesses. Mr. Ahsan served as the Group Head of Human Resources in Apex Group. In this role, he reviewed, analyzed and administered human resources policies and compliance issues during his tenure from 2005 to 2018.

Mr. Ahsan served as a National Consultant for the International Labor Organization (ILO) from 2009-2013. In this role, he coordinated with the leather sector, and private industry stakeholders to get industry inputs on TVET policy, National Technical Vocational Qualification Framework (NTVQF), Unit of Competencies, and Course Accreditation documents. He also contributed to the above as a member of the Industry Skills Councils (ISC). He envisioned the establishment of (COEL) in 2009 with the input and buy-in of stakeholders from the donor community, industry & government. As a result, the center has ensured 20,000+ employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups such as women, youth and rural communities.

From his extensive experience, Mr. Ahsan’s expertise includes recruitment & selection including identifying training needs, designing and recommending relevant training programs, HR policies and processes, competencies and curricula for TVET, and performance management systems. Currently, as the Managing Director of E-Zone HRM Limited Mr. Ahsan has been “Servicing Change Managers” in the area of; Recruitment Solutions, Staff Outsourcing solutions, Learning Solutions, Research Solutions, Organization Development (OD), Human Resource Management (HRM), Human Resource Development (HRD).
